There's nothing better than seeing someone light up after a fresh color or cut, and being a part of that transformation is what makes this career so rewarding. I have 23+ years of experience and 13 of those years as co-owner of Lotus Salon, I love my career. Ana Sun Prairie Location Hello! My name is Ana Gabriela I am from the Dominican Republic. I graduated from Madison College’s program of cosmetology in December 2022 and started at Lotus even before I graduated! I love making connections with other people. Making them feel their best and secure about themselves is my top priority. Which is one of the reasons why I decided to pursue a career in cosmetology. I love coloring hair, men’s and women’s hair cutting, hair styling, and anything to do with nails. Once I graduated high-school, back in 2021, I had the opportunity to get my Cosmetology License through Lotus Salon and was enrolled in their Apprenticeship Program. Callie Stoughton Owner I have been with Lotus Salon as a stylist since 2012, I was honored to be given the opportunity of shareholding, and became a part owner in 2022. Not only is this my career, but my passion and hobby also. I have been so blessed to be able to live the quote “ Find a career you love and you will never work a day in your life” My own natural curls started my love for curly hair. I want to explore and challenge every aspect of it. I also have a deep passion for hair color. Anything from regular maintenance, trying something new, or correcting something to make your hair dreams come true. My goal is for you to be fully in love with your hair. Nothing makes me happier than seeing clients smile when I have created the look they want or the moment I have helped them regain a love for their own hair. Hi, My name is Camille. I graduated from Verona Area High School in 2024. I then went to Madison Area Technical College in 2025 and got my cosmetology license. I've always loved doing vivid colors on myself and learning how to take care of my own hair, and that is what got me interested in this industry. Giving people the chance to express their own genuine beauty and self-confidence is the most rewarding thing there is. Dana (Apprentice) Sun Prairie Location Hi, I am Dana. I graduated from Marshall Highschool, then continued my education at Madison College. After about 2 years I realized my dream was not going to be found within those walls. From a young age I always loved doing hair and make up for friends and myself. Through that college experience I realized that is still where my passion lies. Cosmetology was the dream I put off, until now. I am so excited to be jumping in fully to the Lotus Salon Apprenticeship program. I am ecstatic to be behind the chair, meeting new people, and growing as a stylist. There is nothing better than being able to give people the opportunity to see true beauty and confidence within themselves. When I am not at the salon you can usually find me somewhere outdoors, hunting or fishing, or cuddled up reading a good book with my dachshund puppy, Millie. Derek Stoughton location Hi, I'm Derek! I graduated with a BFA in Graphic Design and have a long history of digital art and photography work, but there came a time here I realized my heart wasn't in that work anymore and I needed a change. After some soul searching, I came to Lotus Salon and the WI cosmetology apprenticeship program. I find excitement and passion in this industry because your outward appearance is your first and often only impression on the world around you, and hair can be such a powerful tool to express yourself. I love bold looks, vivid colors, highlights, shags and mullets but most importantly whatever makes you feel confident and your best self. Devan Stoughton Location Hi, I am Devan. I have been working at Lotus since 2017; I started here as a receptionist in High School and discovered that Cosmetology was my passion. Shortly after leaving for college, I knew I had to get back into the salon, Madison College Cosmetology program was calling my name! One of my favorite things about this industry is that there is always something new. A new Challenge or color technique really drives my creative side and allows me to learn more about my growing passion. All things color is my driving force, I love maintaining color, new color, foils, dimensional color and fashion colors! Finding the uniqueness of color and how it fits every person individually is always such an amazing experience. Grace Sun Prairie location Hi, my name is Grace! In 2022 I started working at Lotus Salon while still in high school, behind the front desk. From there I fell in love with my coworkers, the company, and the overall experience of getting to know clients! Soon after I graduated from Sun Prairie High School, I started the Lotus Salon apprenticeship program. I've loved learning new techniques, and developing my skills, working with clients and graduating was such an accomplishment!
